Closest thing I could find to what I was looking for. I wanted a desert type theme but darker sand so it wouldn't blend with the render or the effects.

What Cinodor said. Start using blending options and make the render smaller CTRL+T. Adding borders, Smudging, Blurring, more effects.

They're using Photoshop CS4/5. I think you did a good job on this one, background doesn't really blend in too well.
