RSBuddy is currently down; if you start the bot, you will receive an error message from the Crawler informing you that the referrer is null.


RSBuddy developers have already been informed the bot is down; please refrain from posting threads on this topic. The bot will be back up shortly.


The cause of the downtime: RuneScape has had an out-game update.


Please wait patiently for the bot to be updated to match the RuneScape update.


There is currently no ETA.


Points to note:
1. If you already have your bot open, DO NOT CLOSE IT as your RSBuddy client still works. New RSBuddy clients will not open to do RuneScape's update.

2. To keep your account safe from rollbacks/bans, DO NOT log on and bot immediately after the bot comes back up, as chances are Jagex knows that the bots cannot open, and they will notice a wave of players logging on and proceeding to do a bot-like activity.

Q. If my bot is still up, is it safe to use it?
A. Yes, it is no less safe than usual

Q. When will the bot be back up?
A. No one knows.

Q. What is an "out-game" update?
A. An update to the external game such as the links, which is what I'm assuming was updated because the RSBuddy error message says the link is null.

I normally use RSbot if I'm botting, but when this is back up I'll try it out.
