Project Insanity release
« on: March 27, 2011, 12:57:14 pm »
This server had a lot of potential but never really took off due to my low tolerance for nagging 12 year olds. A lot of the things I added into the source were done a while ago (before I knew of better, more efficient ways of doing them).

Client is included!

MEDIA:

Known Issues:
Godwars npcs look **** - uncomment the lines in EntityDef in the client to re enable loading of for them.

Main Features:

Amazing combat
Fairly accurate accuracy formulas (tweaked a lot)
Fully functional clan chat
3/4 godwar bosses
Amazing npc drop system
Fight Pits
Pest Control
Barrows
Fight Caves (360 onwards, easy to add all ways, just build on the array)
Quite a few skills (some half-assed)
All 474 items (loaded through cache)
Most pots work, very easy to add more
Most food work, very east to add more
100% Potion dose mixing
Base for skill menus
Piety + chivalry
Perfect prayer draining
Custom infinity/mage book minigame
Working obelisks
Perfect prayer draining and protection prayer delay in pvp

I'm sure theres a lot more, just can't remember

Final Notes:
I did not use an IDE while working on this server, so for the most part the conventions are done manually, and I apologize in advance for the indentation of notepad++.
Special thanks to mj2000 for encouraging + helping with configs for the server

PI servers have been out for a while and are fairly popular.

Amazing combat
Fairly accurate accuracy formulas (tweaked a lot)
Fully functional clan chat
3/4 godwar bosses - For the Zammy boss all you need to do is set it so the tele location is the same as all the others but height 16.
Amazing npc drop system - PI drop system is so confusing! If you can figure it out explain, I used a different drop system, works good.
Fight Pits
Pest Control
Barrows
Fight Caves (360 onwards, easy to add all ways, just build on the array)
Quite a few skills (some half-assed) - Most of them are pretty good, need to fix up Firemaking and Agility.
All 474 items (loaded through cache)
Most pots work, very easy to add more
Most food work, very east to add more
100% Potion dose mixing
Base for skill menus

I highly doubt anyone is going to download this unless they feel like managing the ridiculous amount of dupes and problems associated with PI, most of which have been fixed with later releases.

However, I'm sure someone will find this useful.

You need pictures... for a stock PI? Just look at nearly every server that has been released in the past year or so, and you'll get the general idea.

OK, Media is added and Scan is to, and I simply released this because there is only 2working links which are both on Rune-Ser** and I thought I would be nice and release it on these awesome forums! And Sanity coded this, it was originaly Delta/Winterlove which Sanity recoded everything and made this which nearly every server is made of, and then we had DSPK release and that is always leeched, I think people should learn to code like me and and start with the original PI and do everything by themselves!

Kind regards, Kyle

I think people should learn to code and not use PI at all.

I don't understand why people like PI so much, it's really a drag to fix all those anyonning dupes.
